Ginger Carrot Soup

Herein Lies the Nutritional Spell
for an Ailed House Mate

When weakness and a scratchy throat arrive,
use this recipe t'help everyone thrive!
Take a pinch of spice, and a buttery nut,
carrots, parsnips and your power of nice!

You Will Need:
~ Modern Cauldron: InstantPot.com
~ 1 Chopped Buttery-Nut
~ A Smattering of Carrots
~ A gaggle of Onions
~ A dab of Parsnips
~ A few stalks of Celery
~ Garlic mincies
~ A head of Ginger
~Zesty Lemon bits and juices
~ A Dollop of Lipid Satisfaction (Butter, Oil, Ghee)
~ Tasty Pinches of Salt, Pepper, Cayenne, Cajun Mix, Parsley, Chives, Garlic and Onion Powder.

Making the Nutritional Brew:

Invoke the InstantPot to "Sauté."
Brown garlic mincies in lipid of choice; we prefer Coconut Oil, Butter, Olive Oil, or Sesame Oil.

Bibitty-bobbity-brown the onions, then add ginger, lemon zest, and the spices into your cauldron. We rarely measure out the intended amounts of each, but spice and add ingredients to your taste. This brew base should be well coated in oil and spices; cook until onions are tender.
Stir your brew until evenly coated and distributed!

Hum a tune for your roommate's throat chakra as you add the roots into the cauldron, as well as your potent broth (extra magical energies are invoked if you made the broth yourself!) and stir one last time.

Dispel the "sauté" and invoke "manual." Charm the time down to 20 minutes. Close lid and ensure the vent is on "sealed." Say your final incantations and leave the brew to stew.

Go tend to the incubus of viral plague. Soon the scent of nutritional alchemy and elemental craft embrace the olfactory. Eventually the cauldron shall summon you with its enchanting song (beep beep beep). Enhance the alchemy with an immersion blending wand or potato masher. This brew is best served with a strong tonic (or hot toddy) and something delightful and crunchy!

(Apparently our formatting magic isn't on fleek, many apologies!)
